Benefits of Membership 

Community Impact – Members improve the lives of children, youth, and families in the community by completing tangible Done In A Day projects with local nonprofits; annually distributing grant funds to local nonprofits; and partnering with community organizations to implement large-scale projects like S.A.F.E. House and Living Arrows.

Relationship Building – Members form lasting friendships with each other by spending hours volunteering together; attending meetings, trainings, and social events together; and serving on committees together. Members also have to opportunity to meet and form relationships with the community leaders and local nonprofits who partner with JLSB.

Personal Growth – Members can participate in trainings on personal and professional development. Past trainings have included a wide variety of topics ranging from fundraising, personal finance, and leadership to local history, self care, and personal hobbies! 

Requirements of Membership 

• Attend League meetings, trainings, and volunteer events throughout the year. 

• Be at least 21 years of age. 

• Pay annual dues. 

• Serve on a League committee (not required for first-year members).
